Single-piece thermoformed shell over a treated arch, used for post-treatment retention, post-extraction space maintenance over the osseointegration period, or as an esthetic interim restoration with an in-tray pontic. No outsourcing. Patient-labeled bag, per-case batch records, independent QC before shipment.

Features of Our Transparent Dental Retainers

Feature 1 — Passive retention shell

Single-piece thermoformed tray that holds the arch in its corrected position without applying active force. Removable for meals and oral hygiene.

• Mechanical mode: passive retention — single piece, no active components
• Coverage: full arch over occlusal and buccal surfaces
• Removability: standard in-and-out use
• Patient scope: post-treatment retention phase; documented in general orthodontic guidance (Retainers, AAO)

Feature 2 — Pontic-ready for interim spaces

Same shell, with an acrylic pontic luted into the tray at the missing site. The tray carries the pontic; the pontic carries no load. Used as an esthetic interim restoration, not as a long-term prosthesis.

• Indication: esthetic interim tooth replacement during the osseointegration period or other pre-restoration phase
• Pontic material: acrylic denture tooth
• Shade source: Rx specification or intraoral photo on file
• Functional boundary: removable, non-load-bearing — not a permanent long-term prosthesis

Feature 3 — Per-case traceability

Every case carries its own documentation. Batch number, sheet origin, and material certificate travel with the case file.

• Material brand and product name per case (on request)

• Material certificate of conformity
• Sheet-level IFU where the sheet family is documented at that level (Essix ACE IFU, PDF)

Feature 4 — Rx-driven material specification

Cases run to the material brand and batch you specify. If your account has standardized on a particular sheet family, we run to that.

• Specify brand name at Rx submission
• Specify lot / batch at Rx submission (optional)
• Material substitution after production starts requires written approval

Feature 5 — Independent QC pass

Every case moves through the QC department before shipment. No case leaves the door to be “adjusted chairside” later.

• Thickness check at multiple points with a caliper, against Rx
• Edge condition: smooth, no flash, no burr, no lifted margin
• Retention test: seated and lifted on the working model
• Body integrity: no crack, no bubble, no whitened stress line
• Case ID match: tray → bag → box → Rx
