Why Choose ASD Dental Lab?

Full production in-house. Every stage of a flexible case — case review, CAD, model work, tooth setup, injection processing, finish, QC, ship — runs on our own bench. No third-party subcontracting on your case ID.

Removable capacity you can plan against. ~4,000 removable cases per month in normal season, ~6,500 in peak, with trained backup technicians on the injection cycle so seasonal spikes don’t stretch your turnaround.

Regulatory footprint the questionnaire asks for. A live FDA establishment registration and device listing covering custom removable prostheses, an EU MDR custom-device notification, an MHRA registration, and an ISO 13485 quality system. Documentation available on request.

Named case coordinator. One inbox for design questions, delivery dates, and Rx clarifications. English case discussions and technique meetings on request.

Reline, add-tooth, repair — on record. We accept these services on flexible bases we built, and on appliances originally built elsewhere provided the resin is compatible. See Reline, add-tooth, repair below.

Our Flexible Denture Manufacturing Process

1 · Case intake — Rx cross-checked against models or scans. Missing shade, missing bite, unclear finish line: we call before we start. 2 · Digital design — CAD outline of base, saddle, clasp path, tooth arrangement. Exocad / 3Shape files accepted for design-only clients. 3 · Model work — Physical impressions poured, articulated, surveyed. Digital cases printed in dental-grade resin. 4 · Setup + wax try-in — Tooth setup to shade and bite record. Wax try-in offered on any anterior or altered-VDO case. 5 · Injection processing — Base injected under the resin manufacturer’s controlled temperature and pressure cycle; fully polymerized before de-flasking. 6 · Finish + polish — Occlusion verified, clasp arms contoured, surface polished to keep plaque adhesion under control chairside. 7 · QC — Fit on the master model, clasp engagement, midline, arch symmetry, centric + lateral excursions. Sign-off before packaging. 8 · Ship — Boxed with resin brand, batch, shade, and case ID on the insert card. Tracking sent the day it ships.

Cooperation flow

Step 1 — Trial case Send one flexible partial dentures case, digital or physical. No minimum. Shipping to us is on your side; return shipping covered by us above a case-value threshold we tell you upfront.

Step 2 — Account setup Post-trial, we open a lab account, sign an NDA, and complete your supplier-qualification questionnaire. Net-30 terms available on approval. Payment by bank transfer or PayPal.

Step 3 — Recurring workflow Repeat orders route through your named case coordinator. Case-level preferences (bite, esthetics, contact tightness, finish-line habits) are logged to your account and auto-applied unless you change the Rx.

Turnaround, warranty, remakes

In-lab working time

Working-day schedule that starts the day complete case data arrives

What counts as in-lab time

Only days on the bench. Design-approval waits, missing bite records, and client-reply gaps are excluded; the clock restarts on receipt

Weekends & holidays

China statutory holidays are non-production days; cut-off dates published ahead of long breaks

Remake policy

Majority of remakes covered at no additional charge. Exceptions: design changes requested after approval; cases accepted with a documented input problem at client’s specific request. Both agreed in writing before rework

Rush handling

Available for small volumes, no surcharge in most cases

Shipping-damage

Open on camera within 24 hours; footage + box lets us process an insurance claim and re-ship without back-and-forth

Flexible Denture Relining, Repairs & Tooth Additions

Yes — we handle it. Add a tooth, add a clasp, chairside pickup for a fractured saddle, or a full base reline on an existing flexible appliance. Service covers appliances we didn’t originally build, provided the resin is compatible.

Send with the case

  • Fresh upper and lower models
  • The old appliance
  • Bite record
  • Fresh shade note if the shade is changing

How we do it — Same-family resin, controlled roughening and cleaning of the old base, heat and pressure held within the manufacturer’s cycle so the bond does not compromise the surrounding material. Every reworked appliance is bench-tested for retention before it ships back.

When we recommend a remake instead — Repeated fractures at the same site, or an abutment map that has changed enough that the original design no longer fits. We flag it before we start.

Digital case submission

Accepted files — STL · PLY · OBJ · DCM (3Shape native) · exocad / 3Shape design files Accepted platforms — 3Shape Communicate · Medit Link · iTero · DS Core · Shining3D · Panda · Ori · plain shared upload (WeTransfer, etc.) Scanners we work with — 3Shape TRIOS · Medit · iTero · CEREC (Sirona) · Shining3D Aoralscan · Planmeca — plus any open-file-export scanner Data check — Scan quality confirmed within 1 business day; the working-time clock starts on that confirmation

Physical case submission

Impression materials we accept — VPS (most recommended) · condensation silicone · polyether. Alginate is not accepted for international transit; the material dehydrates and warps in flight. Courier accounts — FedEx · DHL · UPS · SPIDER (France). We can issue a return label under our courier account when that is easier at your side. Shipping cost split — Outbound at client’s side; return shipping is on us above a case-value threshold, and shared below it.

What the Rx should carry

Practice + clinician name · patient identifier (case number is fine, full name not required) · tooth chart with plan · shade · saddle and clasp preferences · occlusal notes · requested delivery date. Blank Rx template on request.

Flexible Dentures FAQs

Valplast is one of several thermoplastic resins used to make flexible partial dentures. tcs, DuraFlex, and other polyamide systems are also in production. The prescription should identify the design, not just a brand name — it keeps insurance coding and remake terms clean.

Yes. Ship VPS or polyether with bite record and shade note in the same box.

Flexible dentures are not the first choice for a heavy grinder. We flag the case, and, if the referring dentist confirms, produce it as an interim appliance with the record noted so the remake window aligns to the expected service life.

Every delivered case can be pulled up by ID to show the resin brand, batch number, and QC record. DSO annual audits are supported.

Yes — CAD-only, CAM-only, or full end-to-end production.
