Zirconia post & core
3Y-TZP post cemented into the root, then the core is built up to receive a crown. Used when coronal tooth structure is too compromised for a core build-up alone. We match your impression or intra-oral scan and mill to fit the prepared canal.
Material Specs — 3Y vs 4Y vs 5Y
3Y-TZP runs 900–1200 MPa but stays opaque — best under layered veneers or in long-span bridges where connector area is tight. 4Y-PSZ drops to 700–1100 MPa with medium translucency — the grade most posterior crowns should be prescribed in. 5Y-PSZ reaches 500–800 MPa with the highest translucency — anterior singletons where glass-ceramic used to be the only option.
Every block we use clears ISO 6872 minimums by a wide margin (all exceed 500 MPa, most clear 700+), and the lot-level flexural-strength certificate ships with every case.
Connector area matters too. We hold ≥9 mm² for 4Y-PSZ posterior bridges and ≥12 mm² for cantilevers, and we flag it at design review if your case falls short — before anything hits the mill.

Prescription review. A case manager logs your scan, photos, and instructions, and confirms zirconia grade, cement space, and connector requirements within one hour of receipt.
CAD design. A senior technician traces margins, sets emergence profile, and designs occlusion in exocad or 3Shape Dental Manager — to your prescription, not a default template.
Design review. A second technician verifies material grade, connector area (≥9 mm² posterior, ≥12 mm² cantilever), and cement space (30–50 µm) before anything goes to mill.

How do I get started if I've never worked with an overseas dental lab before?

What file formats and submission methods do you accept?
Open .stl, .ply, and native formats from every major scanner. Also traditional PVS impressions and hybrid physical-plus-digital submissions.
Can I use my usual resin cement on zirconia?
Not without MDP primer. Zirconia is glass-free, so HF-etch-plus-silane does nothing. The protocol is Ivoclean or Katana Cleaner (10 s), MDP primer on the intaglio, MDP primer on the tooth, then RMGI or resin cement.
What happens if a crown doesn't seat?
If the fault is ours, we remake free. If it’s prep-related, we explain what to change and offer a discounted redo. No return shipping cost either way.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, mutual NDA on request before the first case.
How is patient data handled?
Scans stored for 7 years per regulatory default, accessible only to the assigned case team. Patient-identifying information never shared with third parties.
